Frank E. Hemming, III.
Frank E. Hemming, III concentrates his practice on helping clients of Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC prepare and file both community and chronic care Medicaid applications throughout New York State, which includes substantial contact with both clients and local Department of Social Services offices. He conducts consultations with clients and drafts long-term care planning and supplemental needs planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies and document executions.
Mr. Hemming has been a lecturer for the National Business Institute and the New York State Bar Association. He is a frequent co-presenter of Pierro, Connor & Strauss educational seminars and is a co-host on the Firm’s weekly live radio program, Life Happens, on WGY Saturdays at 11am.
Mr. Hemming received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology (summa cum laude) and Criminal Justice (summa cum laude) and his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany. He received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Albany Law School in 2013.
While in law school, Mr. Hemming interned for the Orange County District Attorney's Office and the Honorable Jeffery G. Berry, one of three County Court judges based in Orange County, New York. Prior joining Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC, Mr. Hemming worked as an associate attorney at a medical malpractice defense firm in Albany, New York. He is admitted to practice before all New York state courts, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Originally from Orange County, New York, Mr. Hemming has been a resident of the Capital Region since 2005 and currently resides in Wilton, NY.
