Frank Hemming concentrates his practice on helping clients of Pierro, Connor & Strauss prepare and file both community and chronic care Medicaid applications. Mr. Hemming received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology (summa cum laude) and Criminal Justice (summa cum laude) and his Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany. He received his Juris Doctor (magna cum laude) from Albany Law School in 2013.

Pierro, Connor & Strauss is proud to announce that for the first time, Mr. Hemming is selected by his peers for recognition as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2023.

He has also been honored for the first time by Super Lawyers as a “2021 Upstate New York Rising Stars,” a selection process where peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research reserved for those attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice.

While in law school, Mr. Hemming interned for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Honorable Jeffery G. Berry, one of three County Court judges based in Orange County, New York. Prior joining Pierro, Connor & Strauss Mr. Hemming worked as an associate attorney at a medical malpractice defense firm in Albany, New York. He is admitted to practice before all New York state courts, and is a member of the New York Bar Association.
