MEDICAID MONDAY: Your Right to Medicaid – What Happens If You’re Denied?
What if you or a loved one doesn’t receive a favorable decision regarding your Medicaid application or a favorable determination of home care hours? Just because an application or service is denied doesn’t mean that there are no steps that can be taken. This program will:
- Discuss Fair Hearings, when one can be used, and what other options there are to appeal a decision in regard to a Medicaid application
- Offer helpful guidance on what to be mindful of during the appeal process, and
- Tips to ensure a favorable outcome is reached when the initial application is completed.
