With a distinguished background in estate planning, elder law, business and corporate planning, and real estate law, Victor Oberting joined Pierro, Connor & Strauss in May 2021. In addition, Victor counsels high net worth clients to maximize wealth and minimize tax that take advantage of the most current policy changes.
Victor earned a J.D. from Albany Law School, B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University and is an Albany Academies Class of 1981 graduate. He has practiced law in the 1990s and worked with his family business, Interstate Commodities, Inc. Victor is a member of the New York State Bar Association and served on the Elder Law and Estate Planning sections.
Victor is a Trustee of The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region and is Chair of its Governance Committee, as well as a member of the Finance Committee. He is Membership Chair of the Fort Orange Club and a lifelong resident of Albany County.
