Hanna R. Dameron joined the New York City office of Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC as an associate attorney in 2021. She practices estate and trust litigation, as well as estate and trust planning and administration.
Prior to joining Pierro, Connor & Strauss, Ms. Dameron served as an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases from inception to conclusion, including investigation, complaint drafting, witness interviews, grand jury presentation, plea negotiation, and trial. She also led complex, long-term grand jury investigations resulting in prosecution or justified dismissal. Her prosecutions included violent crimes, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, employee fraud, cyberstalking, and weapon and drug-related cases.
Ms. Dameron decided to transition her practice to estates and trusts after serving as an executor, where she experienced the challenges of handing the affairs of a family member firsthand. This experience made her passionate about assisting families in difficult times and helping them plan for the future to protect their loved ones.
Pierro, Connor & Strauss is proud to announce that for the first time, Ms. Dameron has been selected for the first time by Super Lawyers as a “2022 New York Metro Rising Stars,” a selection process where peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research reserved for those attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice.
