Associate Attorney
Bethany Van Pelt joined the Capital Region office of Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC as an associate attorney in 2022. She practices in estate and trust administration, trust and estate planning, business planning and probate.
Prior to her role as an associate attorney, Ms. Van Pelt served as a law clerk at the Firm where she conducted legal research and assisted clients with Trust Funding and recording their deeds. In a prior position, Ms. Van Pelt was an intern at Albany Law School where she analyzed matters involving for-profit and non-profit business that benefitted the development of the local community and matters surrounding future care for children.

She has also worked with the Albany County District Attorney, Crime Victims Unit where she drafted contact letters and assisted in providing comprehensive support services to victims.
Ms. Van Pelt received her J.D. cum laude from Albany Law School in 2021. During her time at Albany Law, she concentrated her studies on Elder Law, Trust and Estates and Tax Law. Ms. Van Pelt also received the Dean’s Scholarship and served as the Treasurer of Phi Alpha Delta. She received her Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the University at Albany, State University of New York majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology with a minor in Business.
