ARNOLD C. PEER, ESQ. Has been a practicing attorney in the Capital District since his admission to the New York State Bar in 1961. He has wide experience in dealing with business transfer issues, particular expertise in estate planning, and has represented entrepreneurs and many family-owned businesses in his career. His law firm specializes in Estate Planning for individuals using Trust-Centered planning techniques.  Mr. Peer is a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys, an interactive alliance of over 500 estate planning attorneys nationwide which provides leadership in innovative estate planning techniques to assist families from various income levels in preserving their assets and perpetuating philanthropy.  He is also a member of the New York State and Rensselaer County Bar Associations.

Mr. Peer is a graduate of Albany Law School and received his Bachelors degree in Business at Siena College in Loudonville, New York.  He has over 34 years of experience in the business community with particular emphasis on closely held corporations and served as an Adjunct Professor of Law in the Management Department of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, on the teaching staff of the MBA program and Management Development Program.

Mr. Peer is a Board Member and advisor to Rensselaer County Salvation Army; a Board Member and past campaign chairman of American Cancer Society of Rensselaer County; a Board Member and past President of Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center Board of Trustees; a Former Board Member of the Troy YMCA; and the President of the Board of Directors of the Family Foundation School.
