Of Counsel to Pierro Law Group

Attorney Lowenthal practices in New York City and the Hudson Valley as principal in the Law Offices of Andrea Lowenthal PLLC, and Of Counsel to Pierro Law Group LLC.  She is Co-Editor in Chief of the Elder Law Attorney, and a contributing author to this publication and several in the Hudson Valley.  She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and of Elder Counsel, LLC.  Before founding her own firm, Andrea Lowenthal, Esq. practiced for many years with the New York offices of Shearman & Sterling and then joined Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., initially in the Office of General Counsel and then as a Director in Investment Banking.  Andrea received her J.D.  cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, a B.S. summa cum laude from Boston University, School of Management, and a M.A. from Bard College.  At Brooklyn Law School, she was the Editor in Chief of the Brooklyn Law Review 1987-88, and served as a member of the BLS’s Board of Trustees, 1988-90.
